Cactus Power is evolving from a cactus agriculture, processing and export company into a biomass platform for future bioenergy applications.

With experience in nopal cultivation, handling, processing and international commercialization, we are now focused on connecting cactus biomass with technology partners, research institutions and project developers interested in renewable energy from resilient crops.

WHY CACTUS?

Cactus is one of the world’s most resilient plants: a climate-resilient crop adapted to heat, drought and challenging agricultural environments, requiring less water than many conventional crops while producing valuable organic biomass with potential for anaerobic digestion, circular energy models, and future biogas, biomethane and biofertilizer applications.

From Biomass to Future Energy

Through the right technology and partnerships, cactus biomass can be evaluated for anaerobic digestion — a process that transforms organic matter into biogas, with potential pathways toward biomethane, heat, electricity and digestate-based biofertilizer.

Cactus Power’s role is to support this pathway at the source: biomass access, agricultural knowledge, feedstock strategy, processing experience and international project coordination.

Energy, Rural Value and Climate Resilience

Cactus-based bioenergy has the potential to connect renewable energy with rural development, dryland resilience and circular agriculture.

By developing new value chains around cactus biomass, Cactus Power aims to support future models that generate energy, strengthen local economies and return nutrients to the soil through biofertilizer applications.

OUR OFFER

Feedstock Assessment & Local Energy Models

Cactus Power connects cactus biomass supply with the right technology, research, project development, and investment partners.

We collaborate with biodigester developers, biogas operators, universities, energy companies, municipalities, agricultural producers, and investors to evaluate cactus biomass under real operating conditions, including feedstock preparation, co-digestion opportunities, methane potential, logistics, digestate use, and economic viability.

If you are developing biogas, biomethane, anaerobic digestion or biomass projects, Cactus Power can be a strategic partner in cactus biomass sourcing, agricultural coordination and pilot development.
