Cactus Power México is a Mexican company dedicated to the cultivation, harvest, industrial processing and international supply of nopal cactus, Opuntia ficus-indica, from Mexico.
For more than ten years, Cactus Power has worked at the intersection of agriculture, industry and international trade, developing a specialized value chain around one of Mexico’s most resilient and versatile plants: the nopal cactus.
What began as an agricultural and processing operation has evolved into a platform with experience in organic cactus cultivation, raw material sourcing, industrial transformation, product development and export logistics. Over the years, Cactus Power has supplied cactus-based ingredients and materials for international applications across food, beverages, cosmetics, water treatment and other industrial uses.

After more than ten years of experience in cactus cultivation, processing and export, Cactus Power is now entering a new phase: exploring the role of cactus biomass in bioenergy, biogas, biomethane and circular agricultural systems.
Cactus is one of the world’s most resilient plants. It grows in dryland conditions, requires fewer resources than many conventional crops and produces valuable biomass with potential applications in anaerobic digestion, co-digestion, biomethane production and biofertilizer development.
